Kairos Wallet Extension — Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Kairos Wallet ("the Extension") is a browser extension developed by Kairos 777 Inc. This policy describes how the Extension handles your data.

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The Extension operates entirely on your local device.

• Private Keys & Seed Phrases: Encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored locally in Chrome's chrome.storage.local. They never leave your device.
• Wallet Addresses: Stored locally. Not transmitted to any server.
• Connected Sites: A list of dApp origins you've approved is stored locally.
• Settings & Preferences: Stored locally in browser storage.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• No names, emails, or personally identifiable information
• No browsing history or activity tracking
• No analytics, telemetry, or usage data
• No cookies or tracking pixels
• No data transmitted to our servers

4. Network Requests

The Extension makes direct RPC calls to public blockchain nodes (e.g., bsc-dataseed1.binance.org, cloudflare-eth.com) to fetch balances and broadcast transactions. These calls contain only blockchain-related data (addresses, transaction data) and are sent directly to the blockchain without passing through any Kairos servers.

5. Third-Party Services

The Extension loads the Inter font from Google Fonts during popup rendering. This is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No other third-party services are used.

6. Permissions Explained

• storage: To save your encrypted vault and settings locally.
• activeTab: To detect the current tab's origin for dApp connection requests.
• scripting: To inject the EIP-1193 provider (window.kairos) for dApp compatibility.
• host_permissions (https://*/*): Required for the content script to inject the Web3 provider on all websites, enabling dApp connectivity.

7. Data Security

All sensitive data (private keys, seed phrases) is encrypted using AES-256-GCM with a key derived from your password before storage. The Extension auto-locks after 15 minutes of inactivity, clearing decrypted keys from memory.

8. Data Deletion

Uninstalling the Extension removes all locally stored data. You can also manually clear vault data from the Extension's settings.

9. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
